Declaration of Intellectual Property Rights

1. Definition of Intellectual Property Rights

In addition to ReadOne itself, all property rights (including, but not limited to copyright, trademark right, patent right, business secrets etc.) pertaining to all products, technology, software, processes, data and other information contained within ReadOne (including, but not limited to fonts, images, pictures, sounds, videos, charts, colours, layout, design and electronic documents) contained within the ReadOne platform, are all property of ReadOne. Unauthorised use of any of the aforementioned intellectual property (including, but not limited to copying, dissemination, displaying, imaging, uploading or downloading) is prohibited.

ReadOne's logo and other logos, products and service names are all registered trademarks of ReadOne in both the People’s Republic of China and worldwide. Display or other use of them is prohibited without formal written consent, as is expression of your right to display or use them.

2. Limitation of Responsibility

As the services provided by the ReadOne platform belong to the third party cooperative online selling platform format, store and product information (book prices, shipping fees and user databases) should be provided and uploaded by the sellers, who must uphold legal responsibility for all material provided in this way. If any book synopses, contents, writer introductions or any other relevant information contain errors, please contact ReadOne, who will deal with the issue immediately.

3. Protection of Intellectual Property Rights

ReadOne upholds intellectual property rights and opposes copyright piracy. If a copyright holder believes that ReadOne has infringed on their intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to any product information published by a seller on the ReadOne platform), please contact us with a written notification, and ReadOne will deal with the situation immediately.

Privacy Policy

ReadOne (hereafter referred to as “we”) is committed to the protection of users' personal information. When using the services provided by the ReadOne platform, we will collect, use and share your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Policy includes the conditions relating to the collection, storage, use and sharing of your personal information. We will clearly define in this Agreement the way in which your personal information will be used, and therefore we urge that you read this Policy carefully in order to understand how your privacy will be protected. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you should immediately cease use of the ReadOne platform. Using any of the services provided by the ReadOne platform will be considered an acceptance of our implementation of this Policy to protect your personal information.

1. Scope of Use

ReadOne strives to provide an increasingly efficient and personalised service with optimal convenience for the user. This Privacy Policy relates to all services provided by ReadOne.

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information in order to provide a more efficient and personalised service. The types of information which we collect are as follows:
1. Information you provide to us. For example, any information containing your name, address, phone number, email address, delivery address, credit card number etc. that you provide to us when registering for a ReadOne account or when using ReadOne to buy or sell products.
2. Information collected during the use our services. In order to provide and optimise the services we provide, we collect information relevant to your use of these services. This includes:
ReadOne’s automatic collection and recording of information from your Web browser and computer when you are using ReadOne service or visiting the ReadOne site, including, but not limited to your IP address,Web browser type, language of use, time and date of visit, information relating to software and hardware features and the page you are looking for.
In addition to the above, we may also collect other information in a reasonable manner in order to improve the quality of the services we provide. This includes information relating to you contacting our Customer Service Team; answers provided by you in any surveys and/or questionnaires we distribute; or information relating to any interactions you have with sellers on ReadOne.

3. How We Use Your Information

As we collect information with the aim of improving the services we provide to you, we will use the information in the following ways:
1. To provide all of our services to you and to protect and improve these services.
2. To recommend content that may be of interest to you, including, but not limited to sending product and services information or displaying individualised promotional material relating to third parties. We may also, with your approval, share information with ReadOne sellers and allow them to send you information relating to their products and services.
3. We may use your personal information in order to protect you from, discover and investigate any behaviour that involves piracy, threatens security, is illegal or violates any agreements or policies signed with us, and to protect your legal rights and those of other users.
4. For other uses to which you consent.

4. How We Will Share Your Information

We uphold the obligation to protect the information you wish to keep private. We will not release this to any third party for marketing purposes as a way to achieve sales or any other material profit. We will only share your information with a third party under the following circumstances:
1. If we have already received your approval.
2. If we are required to do so by law or by a judicial body.
3. If we can only provide a service you require by first sharing information or if we require this in order to resolve a dispute between you and another party. For example, if in order to allow a particular function or part of a function of a transaction to move forward, or to resolve a dispute, ReadOne may provide contact information or other relevant information to a third party.
4. If you break Chinese law or a relevant condition in the ReadOne agreement and information has to be provided to a third party.
5. In order to protect the legal rights of ReadOne, its cooperative partners and users.

5. Protecting Your Personal Information

In order to guarantee the security of your information we have strived to implement physical, electronic and management protection safety policies so that your information is not leaked, destroyed or lost. We also strictly manage all employees and contractors who may come into contact with such information, including, but not limited to, security clearance according to position; signing non-disclosure agreements with them; monitoring their work; and other measures. ReadOne will use safety measures based on current technology in order to protect your information and to ensure that your information is not leaked, destroyed or lost.

Your account is equipped with safety functions, please use these to protect your account and password information. ReadOne will ensure that your information is not lost, misused or altered when backing up its servers or increasing the security level of your password. However, we remind you that there are no infallible safety measures for information online.

When using the ReadOne platform for online transactions, providing certain information to transaction partners or potential transaction partners is unavoidable, for example, contact information or email addresses. Please ensure that you protect your personal information and that you only provide it to others when absolutely necessary. If you find your personal information has been leaked, especially your account password, please contact ReadOne immediately in order for us to carry out appropriate measures.
